One of my biggest challenges
with almost every client is moving her away from black. Black does not look good on everyone. Mostly, it's too
harsh a color and makes many look tired and drawn. Instead, choose a neutral that plays up your coloring. The
easiest way to tell is to hold the fabric of the item you're considering up to your face. Do you see a shadow under
your lip? If so, don't buy it. If no, go for it. It really is as simple as that!
REMEMBER to order all
of the potential sizes to find the best fit for you AND to insist on a great fit by returning any and all
sizes that aren't right. Jacket fits if you can fully button it. Adjust sleeves or pant length at the tailor..
