HALOGEN MESH PETITE TOP ($58): This soft top is great for summer with a faded print that should be a fun mix with your animal print skirt. The cap sleeves and vee neckline frame your face and emphasize your shoulders while the ruching shows off your great waist and curves. Ruffle down the front emphasizes length.

Tuberose

Mixing patterns is hot this year. However, it's always tough to tell what works until you see it in person. Try this top; if it doesn't work, you can always use it as an alternate with jeans or return it.

MICHEAL KORS PETITE TOP (ON SALE $70): Flowy and subdued, this patterned top should be tucked into your skirt. The wide neckline and cap sleeves emphasize your shoulders and face. The smocking provides a boost to your bust.

Make sure that the volume of the top blouses nicely but doesn't overwhelm you. You can always visit a tailor to get the blouse altered below the waist of the skirt so that it tucks perfectly.
