Process: Organize Your Wardrobe (SOS) SOS = SORT, ORGANIZE & SHOP
STEP ONE: SORT
- Use shopping bags or laundry baskets to make three piles: Keep, Maybe & Toss
- Take everything out of your closet and put each piece into one of these piles
- When you are done, bag up the "toss" pile
- Put your "maybe" pile in the back of your closet
- Put your "keep" pile in the front
- Test yourself this coming week to see if you reach for anything
in the "maybe" pile...
Keep means: You love it It looks fabulous on you
Maybe means: You don't love it, but it's really
useful It doesn't look fabulous on you, but it's in good condition Your friend/Mom/husband gave it to you, but you never wear it It's worn, out-of-date or pilly, but you wear it ALL THE TIME
Toss means: You hate it It's not
at all flattering or no longer fits It is torn,
frayed, stained or pilly
